Dear all,
Just to update you regarding the postponement of the event GRAMIN YUVA MAHOTSAVA at Southa (Kasba) which was scheduled from 10th-15th June 09, due to pre-monsoon and heavy rain in Purnea proposed playground got submerged under rainwater. Considering the arrival of monsoon there is least likelihood of the event "GRAMIN YUVA MAHOTSAVA at present. Therefore, it has been postponed to November 09. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. It was planned in June as month April & May was for electioneering.

Objectives
To provide opportunities for rural youths to
- Articulate and exchange their ideas, views, concerns and challenges of youths & the society
- Engage in physical, spiritual and intellectual activities and discover their hidden potentials within
- Identify the hidden talents in an individual and provide opportunities for grooming
- Create a positive energy in the region / society towards progressive thinking and actions
- To find out the ways forward towards youths action in development of the community & society
Talent search in the areas of
- General knowledge and awareness, scientific aptitude and inventions, Mathematical aptitude and analysis through quiz competition (9th std to undergraduate students)
- Art & culture through thematic paintings, cartooning and sketching (below 5th and 5th std to 8th std)
- Debate competition (college going students)
- Games & sports :
